Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Christmas Carols

Hello Sinners,

First off I know it's not Tuesday but bare with me. I haven't posted in a lifetime due to that menstrual bitch school and I promised you all my favorite Christmas song picks so for the purpose of this post today is officially Tuesday.

So today is a double entry due to my ghost like behavior courtesy of Justin Bieber and the Glee Cast. Normally Christmas songs are ballady and sombre about some chick wishing for her lover (which I do appreciate, don't get me wrong) but Christmas really is a joyful and jolly time. So I'm giving you two upbeat songs that'll get your booty shaking while getting you in the Christmas spirit.

The first song is Little Drummer Boy ft. Busta Rhymes. 3 words: Justin Bieber rapping. You're welcome.

The second song is Extraordinary Merry Christmas by my lover Darren Criss and Lea Michele. I dare you to not  dance in your seat. Can't do it right?

Hottie Lamati Alert!

Attention Sinners I the most sinful news. Check out the Hottie Lamati above. Don't recognize him? Don't worry you soon will. The hotsome (Hot+Awesome) cutie above will soon hijack your TVs and hearts later this fall, as he has just been cast in this season of Glee. The up-and-coming Broadway star Grant Gustin will play Sebastian a "a gay Dalton Academy student who has an eye for Blaine" said TVLine.com. Oh no is Mckinley High's favorite same-sex couple hitting a little turbulence in their whirlwind romance. Judging by last night's episode it seems there may be trouble in paradise.

Sebastian, who is set to make his debut in this season 5th episode, is described as a male version of Santana being very manipulative and skanky. At first thought I'm like Ryan Murphy why didn't you call upon this sexy bitch for this role, not that I don't appreciate the sexiness of Grant Gustin. This Sebastian seems like my television counterpart.  Hot, sexy, "Scheming and promiscuous." Sound familiar? Story of my life. And you know I wouldn't mind getting cozy next to Darren Criss. Never-mind my horrid singing voice, that's what autotune is for. But nevertheless I will live vicariously through Gustin, and on the plus side I may have a new favorite character.

Between The Glee Project winners and this Sebastian it seems the writers are adding a whole bunch of new characters. So what are your thoughts on the new casting news? Do you think Klaine can weather the man-whore storm that is Sebastian?

Glee Spin-Off: Done Before it Even Started

Dear Sinners, remember a while back when I posted about Chris Colfer, Lea Michelle, and Cory Monteith's departure from McKinley High this season, if not just scroll down I'm sure it's still there. Well, their characters' "graduation" from Glee left many gleeks in a frenzy, but also held the prospect of a spin-off- which filled fans with a giddy sensation that only Rachel Berry in colourful knee-high socks could create.

Well, sorry fellow gleeks cause it turns out our spin-off dreams are dunzo. In a dramaful turn of events, it seems that Ryan Murphy, co-creator of Glee, was actually planning on a spin-off focusing on the three main characters. But after Colfer gave an interview insisting he was fired from the show, and even worse that he found out through Twitter, Murphy axed the spin-off plans.

Murphy insited that all three actors knew about their characters' graduation, and even knew about the spin-off. He said in an interview "None of them were fired. It was never about that. We were going to do a spin-off where the three of them were going to go on. They all knew what was happening, they all had approved it, they all said they wanted to do it."

So after Colfer's comments Murphy and his team ended the spin-off plans saying Colfer's comments "[weren't] exactly cool."

I guess hell hath no fury like TV show creator scorn. How awkward must the Glee set be right now.

In my opinion, maybe this isn't a horrible thing. Yes, it isn't really fair to punish Lea Michelle and Cory Monteith for Chris Colfer's comments, and btw I'd love to hear is side of the story. And the idea of a Glee spin-off does seem amazing, but perhaps it'll be too much Glee. Let's get real wouldn't it be annoying to have a carbon copy of Glee?

What's your thoughts? are you devastated by the cancelled spin-off? Do you really even care?

Glee Stars Say Good-bye

It turns out everyone's favorite muscial comedy Glee will be making some changes in its fourth season. The Emmy Award winning show, which is about to begin production on its third season set to air this fall, is cutting it's oversized cast. That's right the halls of McKinley High are about to get a lot quieter. Lea Michelle, Chris Colfer, and Cory Monteith are saying good-bye to their Glee counterparts Rachel Berry, Kurt Hummel, and Finn Hudson.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy says that he wants to keep the show "really true to life", having the three characters graduate after this season. He goes on to say that "You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic,".

Although Murphy has a point-it's really hard to believe Cory Monteith, 29, as a high schooler (although he does have that ditzy confused act down)- this still is a bold move considering these are 3 major characters. Why not get rid of Tina or Mike Chang since they're barely featured and all they do is talk about being Asian.

Apparently both Colfer and Michelle are okay with the writers choice to axe them.

There is also talks about a Glee spinoff. Considering Rachel and Kurt's desire to move to New York maybe it'll feature Rachel, Kurt, and  Blaine shacking up in NYC. It'll be Glee meets Three's Company meets Gossip Girl. ooou I'm getting excited.

Although I can't imagine not seeing Finn in his hot footbal uniform or breaking out in laughter from one of Kurt's infamous one liners, or even rolling my eyes every time Rachel opens her annoying mouth, in my hEVANly opinon I must agree with Ryan Murphy. People would get suspicious if they didn't graduate. Plus at least now they can end on a high note. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and trust your capable hands.

So questions to ponder for season 3. What will happen to Rachel, Finn and Kurt after McKinley High? will they make it to broadway? What will happen to the world's most boring couple Rachel and Finn? Will he finally get annoyed with her and strangle her to death? (I wish). Is anyone else graduating, you can't tell me those are the only seniors in the glee club.

I guess we'll just have to stay tuned this fall to see how the curtain closes for these three characters.
