Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Christmas Edition

Well hello Sinners. It is officially Christmas week, and continuing with our little tradition I present another Christmas classic. This time from country cutie Taylor Swift. Christmas Must be Something More is actually an incredible song. It incorporates the fun cuteness that Taylor Swift is famous for, but if you listen to the lyrics you'd see that this songs cuts out all the bullshit and commercialism of Christmas. It bluntly calls out everyone for ignoring the real purpose of Christmas: the birth of Jesus. All the other Christmas carols are about finding love, kissing under the mistletoe, and peace on earth, and don't get me wrong I love all those things, but it's refreshing to hear a song that doesn't promote consumerism and the commercialization of Christmas. It's Tuesday an keeping with the Christmas theme this week\s song is Grown Up Christmas List by Kelly Clarkson, Now Im not a huge Kelly fan (don't kill me angsty teen girls) but this song is really beautiful. So far the musical selections have all been upbeat happy songs, but everyone loves a good Christmas ballad. I hope you enjoy this track and it get's you in the Christmas mood. less than 2 weeks left.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Christmas Carols

First off I know it's not Tuesday but bare with me. I haven't posted in a lifetime due to that menstrual bitch school and I promised you all my favorite Christmas song picks so for the purpose of this post today is officially Tuesday. 

So today is a double entry due to my ghost like behavior courtesy of Justin Bieber and the Glee Cast. Normally Christmas songs are ballady and sombre about some chick wishing for her lover (which I do appreciate, don't get me wrong) but Christmas really is a joyful and jolly time. So I'm giving you two upbeat songs that'll get your booty shaking while getting you in the Christmas spirit. 

The first song is Little Drummer Boy ft. Busta Rhymes. 3 words: Justin Bieber rapping. You're welcome. 

The second song is Extraordinary Merry Christmas by my lover Darren Criss and Lea Michele. I dare you to not  dance in your seat. Can't do it right?

Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Christmas Edition

Dear Sinners,
Well I know it's been a while but Sweet Tunes Tuesday is back. And since the weather is positely glacial it is now acceptable to crack out the Christmas music. So this week's song is none other than the Christmas classic All I want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. Now over time there have been various covers of this song including Justin Bieber's version featuring Mariah Carey but nothing can beat the original. So get cozy and enjoy the lovely sound of Mrs. Carey's voice.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

Morning Sinners, it's been a while but im coming at you this fine tuesday morning harder than ever. I have three words for you: It's Britney, Bitch! This weeks musical selection is from the Queen of Pop Britney Spears and her new song Criminal. Criminal is the fourth single to be released of Britney's "Femme Fatale" CD.  The song is a nice change from her usual up-beat dance pop, opting for a more mellow ballad-esque feel as she sings about falling for a "criminal" hence the title of the song. Who hasn't fallen for a bad boy? Not only do you special sinners get to enjoy the song, but as a special treat Miss Spears released the music video last night and I have it here. All I can say is DAYUM! Britney is looking fierce in this Bonnie and Clyde-like video, but the real scene stealer is Jason Trawick, Britney's real life boyfriend and agent. I'm sorry but when did Jason Trawick get so hot? He obviously hit the gym hard for this video and it shows. It's nice to see a mashup of Britney's personal and career lives. Also rumours are spreading that Trawick is going to propose to Brit after he was seen shopping for rings. Let's hope this is true. As the video shows these two are adorable and he seems really good for Britney.
Overall I love this video, its cute, funny but mostly sexy as hell, don't lie you know you love those sex scenes. Check the video and song out yourself and give your thoughts. Now excuse me while I go find myself a sexy criminal.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

This weeks musical selection belongs to none other than the Queen of Adorable Ms. Katy Perry. The One That Got Away is the newest and 6th single off the popstar's sophmore album Teenage Dream. Staying true to the album's title the song is another cute love song embossing the emotions of adolescence telling the story of a love that just couldn't last. Although it's no Peacock it's still a good song thats worth a listen.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Birthday Edition

It's Sweet Tunes Tuesday, which coincidentally coincides with my birthday. So here's a very special music seletion that has me blushing. Just a Kiss by Country group Lady Antebellum. This is such a lovely and cute song that'll leave everyone remembering their first kiss with that special someone. If you're fans of Taylor Swift and even Lady Antebellum's previous Grammy Award winning song Need You Know I urge you to give this a listen. You won't be dissapointed.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

After waking up at 6:30, driving, subwaying, and busing to and from school, then working a 5 hour shift by myself I finally have time to relax. And for the next 20 mins it's still Tuesday which means Sweet Tunes Tuesday. This weeks addition comes from sex pot Adam Levine's band Maroon 5 and they're song Never Gunna Leave This Bed. The song is off they're new album Hands All Over. The song is a mid-tempo ballad that makes me reminiscent of they`re older songs such as She Will be Loved or Won`t Go Home Without You. And how hot does Adam Levine look in the video. Really makes me want to claw the eyes out of that heffer who`s dry humping him. It also makes you wonder why Levine hasn`t pursued a solo career, let`s face it he`s the only one selling the band. Who are the other members in Maroon 5? anyways take a listen to the song and as always give your thoughts.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

So I'm starting a new thing here called Sweet Tunes Tuesday. Basically every Tuesday I'm going to post a song that I just can't get out of my head. This week goes to Disney Queen and current Justin Bieber lover Selena Gomez and the Scene and her hit Love You Like a Love Song. Honestly I'm going to admit Selena Gomez is pretty good musically and this song is on fire right now. Also Selena's band Selena Gomez and the Scene are currently in Toronto for her sold-out concert. If anyone's going send me the deets, I'm curious to know how she is live. So congrats Selena for being the first hEVANly artist to be featured on Sweet Tunes Tuesday. I love you like a love song, most specifically this love song.
