Hottie Lamati Alert!

Attention Sinners I the most sinful news. Check out the Hottie Lamati above. Don't recognize him? Don't worry you soon will. The hotsome (Hot+Awesome) cutie above will soon hijack your TVs and hearts later this fall, as he has just been cast in this season of Glee. The up-and-coming Broadway star Grant Gustin will play Sebastian a "a gay Dalton Academy student who has an eye for Blaine" said TVLine.com. Oh no is Mckinley High's favorite same-sex couple hitting a little turbulence in their whirlwind romance. Judging by last night's episode it seems there may be trouble in paradise.

Sebastian, who is set to make his debut in this season 5th episode, is described as a male version of Santana being very manipulative and skanky. At first thought I'm like Ryan Murphy why didn't you call upon this sexy bitch for this role, not that I don't appreciate the sexiness of Grant Gustin. This Sebastian seems like my television counterpart.  Hot, sexy, "Scheming and promiscuous." Sound familiar? Story of my life. And you know I wouldn't mind getting cozy next to Darren Criss. Never-mind my horrid singing voice, that's what autotune is for. But nevertheless I will live vicariously through Gustin, and on the plus side I may have a new favorite character.

Between The Glee Project winners and this Sebastian it seems the writers are adding a whole bunch of new characters. So what are your thoughts on the new casting news? Do you think Klaine can weather the man-whore storm that is Sebastian?

Summer Dreams Ripped at the Seams

If the rapid decline in the weather, crisp leaves scattered around, and the hours of readings and pending assignments weren't obvious enough, let me bluntly say: summer is dunzo. That's right, as much as it pains me to admit it September 23 is the first day of Autumn. And as much as I love fall fashion, Thanksgiving turkey, and apple picking, I'm still going to miss those lazy summer days lounging in my backyard reading, sipping my strawberry dacquri, alcoholic of course, as the sun showered me with its golden rays tinting my already brown hue and highlighting my hair. Ahh summer! Let us all take a moment to mourn our summer. But perhaps my mourning of summer has less to do with its end and more to do with my lack of wish fufillment. Summer '11 went by so fast I hardly finished my checklist (if you haven't already go see my checklist). I had so much planned this summer; this was going to be the best summer ever; the last hurray to my youth, but sadly this summer wasn't everything I hoped it be. No I didn't get a tattoo, I didn't go skinny dipping, and unfortunately I didn't have a monumental, earth-shattering, life-changing, love song worthy, epic romance. Now don't get me wrong there were some amazing things I did this summer. I spent as much time possible with my friends, went to 3 concerts, watched a ton of movies (tuesday movie club ftw!), had 3 parties, got crazy wasted (I'd actually like to forget that), chilaxed on the beach, worked, and so much more. But I'm still a little depressed I didn't acomplish everything on my list. But perhaps it was for the better. Life isn't about checking items off a list. It's about all the spontaneous moments, the laugh-out-loud-till-your-insides-hurt moments, the heart-racing palms-sweating moments. My summer checklist was merely guide for what I thought would be the perfect summer, but it was the moments not on my checklist that made this summer truly memorable. So even though I didn't have the summer I wanted or dreamed about, I still had an awesome time. Summer '11 was pretty amazing, I can't wait to see what's in store next year.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

This weeks musical selection belongs to none other than the Queen of Adorable Ms. Katy Perry. The One That Got Away is the newest and 6th single off the popstar's sophmore album Teenage Dream. Staying true to the album's title the song is another cute love song embossing the emotions of adolescence telling the story of a love that just couldn't last. Although it's no Peacock it's still a good song thats worth a listen.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday: Birthday Edition

It's Sweet Tunes Tuesday, which coincidentally coincides with my birthday. So here's a very special music seletion that has me blushing. Just a Kiss by Country group Lady Antebellum. This is such a lovely and cute song that'll leave everyone remembering their first kiss with that special someone. If you're fans of Taylor Swift and even Lady Antebellum's previous Grammy Award winning song Need You Know I urge you to give this a listen. You won't be dissapointed.

20 Is the New 18

Dear Sinners,

Unfortunately I have some terrible news. I am in mourning you see; mourning of my former life. Today is my birthday, and normally this would signify a week-long celebration, but you see I am officially 20. The horror! I know what you're thinking, how could youthful facial features be more than 17, but the truth is I am two decades old. My youth has been wrongfully stolen from me. Gone are my carefree teenage days. Now all I have to look forward to is years of job interviews, mortgages, and hair loss. 10 more years and I'll be 30. I should just kill myself now.
But no matter, I should act like Meryl Streep and age gracefully. And as I am no longer a teenager it's time a stop my adolescent and childish ways. Yup that's right. No more shots of tequila, dancing around like a fool, spreading rumours, and talking shit behind people's back. This bitch has changed. HA, YEAH RIGHT! Who am I kidding, I'm never going to change. Just because I'm 20 doesn't mean I have to give up all my devilish ways. I'm calling it right now 20 is the new 18. And plus everyone says your 20s are the best time of your life. The partying ways of a teenager mixed with the legality of an adult. What can be better? And don't worry about me turning wrinkly, with stretch marks and varicose veins, as long as there's botox and anti-aging creams I'm going to stay young forever. Happy Birthday to Me, Bitches!

XOXO

Ch-Ch-Changes

Dear Sinners,

If you're like me, which you should all strive to be, then you probably don't really care for change. Change to me is like hyndrangeas to Madonna; I absolutly loathe it. True my life isn't perfect and there's always room for improvement, but I'm comfortable and there's no need to mess with a good thing. Like the saying goes "if it's not broke don't fix it". Well much to my dissapointment change is inevitable and apart of life, so I guess I just have to suck it up.
But the best part about change is the chance to a fresh start, and everyone knows there are three times a year a person can start anew: New Year's, first day of school, and your birthday. Each event gives a person a chance to forget about the previous year's mistakes and sins and move forward with a fresh start and hopefully change for the better.
Luckily for me my birthday, which happens to be today hence this post, and the first day of school are within the same week. And I know what you're thinking "how can you improve on perfection?" but still like I said before there's always room for improvement.
But the most important part of change is moderation. Unless you're a danger to yourself or others or you're a cast member of Teen Mom, there's really no reason to make drastic changes to your life. The whole point of changing is to better yourself. So take it one step at a time making minor improvements. Also never change for someone else. Not to get all motherly on you but change has to happen within and for yourself. So cut out all the negative bullshit, and if you feel like you need to change for yourself then do it. That being said unless you're a hardcore drug addict or a prostitute then the above sentence doesn't apply to you. Go change yourself now! and while you're at it go to the health clinic. Who knows what diseases you're carrying.

Sweet Tunes Tuesday

After waking up at 6:30, driving, subwaying, and busing to and from school, then working a 5 hour shift by myself I finally have time to relax. And for the next 20 mins it's still Tuesday which means Sweet Tunes Tuesday. This weeks addition comes from sex pot Adam Levine's band Maroon 5 and they're song Never Gunna Leave This Bed. The song is off they're new album Hands All Over. The song is a mid-tempo ballad that makes me reminiscent of they`re older songs such as She Will be Loved or Won`t Go Home Without You. And how hot does Adam Levine look in the video. Really makes me want to claw the eyes out of that heffer who`s dry humping him. It also makes you wonder why Levine hasn`t pursued a solo career, let`s face it he`s the only one selling the band. Who are the other members in Maroon 5? anyways take a listen to the song and as always give your thoughts.

Scandal

Plot: This political drama focus on Olivia Pope, former media relations consultant to the President, as she starts her own firm

Hart Of Dixie

Premiere: September 26, 2011, 9pm
Plot: Recent medical graduate Zoe Hart moves to Alabama after she inherits a practice. She must learn to adjust to her rural setting and appreciate the little moments in life.
Appeal: It looks like a cute little medical drama, with breath-taking settings and a lot of hart-pun intended. Rachel Bilson looks gorgeous and marks her return to television and her return to working with The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz. I wonder if any of the other O.C. actoris will be making a cameo, you know Misha Barton needs the work.

Ringer

Appeal: This is Sarah Michelle Gellar's return television after her long stint playing Buffy Summers. This looks like an intrguing mystery thriller that'll keep viewers on the edge. Should be a good watch.

Once Upon a Time
Network: ABC
Starring: Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Joshua Dallas
Premiere: October 23, 2011, 8pm
Plot: A young woman is drawn to a small town cleverly named StoryBrooke, where she meets several fairytale characters come to life and trapped in the modern world.
Appeal: I'm a sucker for a good modern retelling of a fairytale so this show has some appeal to me and it looks like there can be some interesting plot twist provided by the writers of lost so you know you'll be mind-fucked. Who doesn't love a good fairytale?

Revenge
Network: ABC

Plot: This story loosly based on the novel the Count of Monte Cristo is about a young woman (VanCamp, Brothers and Sisters) who retuens to the Hamptons and seeks revenge on those who have wronged her in the past
Appeal: This actually looks like the most appealing show this fall. it mixes my love of wealthy people, juicy scandals and crazy bitches. It's like a Gossip Girl meets Desperate Housewives. like they say hell hath no furry like a woman scorn.

Well Sinners, I've weeded through all the TV crap to present these gems. Check the trailers out for yourself and share your thoughts. What show are you most excited to see? Remember just a few more weeks till our living rooms are filled with the wonderful sound of new shows. I can't wait.

New Fall Shows

Got the back-to-school blues? well you're not alone. And although I can't do anything about the dreadful return to that hell they call school, I do know one thing that will cheer you sinners up: the new fall TV shows. Yup it's that time a year again, where TV executives try to pimp out new TV shows trying to garner as many viewers as possible. And as a self-proclaimed TV-aholic I've taken it upon myself to weed out the craptastic shows that will barely last one season before disappearing to TV heaven- or hell- and the ones that have the potential to make it into my weekly TV schedule. So grab the alcoholic beverage of your choice and relax as I take you through the most interesting programs gracing your TV this fall.

2 Broke Girls
Network: CBS/CityTV (Canada)
Starring: Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs
Premiere: September 19, 2011 9:30pm
Plot: Basically like the totally obvious title says this sitcom is about 2 broke, and totally opposite, girls living in New York City working as waitresses in a grimy diner trying to make ends meet.
Appeal: This show looks like it'll be good for a few laughs. It's running on the same track as Bridesmaids; with the whole comedic women, and hopefully it's just as successful. And Kat Dennings, from Nick and Nora's infinite Playlist fame, seems comical. It's the perfect combination of cute and funny. Plus it's created by the producers of Sex and the City, which can't hurt-unless you count Sex and the City 2.

New Girl
Network: Fox, CityTV
Starring: Zooey Deschanel, Damon Wayans Jr, Max Greenfield.
Premiere: September 20, 2011, 9pm
Plot: After a sudden break-up Jessica Day (Deschanel) decides to move in with three guys who try and help her through her difficult and awkward life.
Appeal: Again this show looks like it'll provide some good laughs on those boring Tuesday nights. It's like a perfect little romantic comedy. Plus how could you resist Zooey Deschanel acting abosolutly adorable? and there's a Dirty Dancing reference, that's it I'm sold.

Suburgatory:
Network: ABC, CityTV
Starring: Jane Levy, Carly Chaiken, Cheryl Hines
Premiere: September 28, 2011 8:30pm
Plot: A single father moves his teenage daughter from Manhatten where she learns about suburban life.
Appeal: This shows looks second rate, but it's got bitchy teenagers and plastic parents and looks like a crappier Mean Girls, so that's good enough for me.
